the only 750 i ever rode was some guys totaled out 98 zuk-it was a total piece-almost as bad as my bike-and mines worse that scott C.'s-i remember being at 8000 right before i pulled it up in 2nd-i always use clutch and bounce it harder than a check from MC Hammer-so you might wan't to go higher

get it higher

if the bike isn't staying up then you aren't getting it high enough.
I pull mine up around 7000rpms in second gear with the use of the clutch. The front end needs to be up high enough that you can't see over.

If it is coming off the ground at any point you should be able to keep it up. DON"T LEAN FORWARD and give that **** some gas. I ride a 600 gixxxer and I have no problem keeping it up. Also are you sitting or standing, 'cause I find it easier to just roll off the throttle then back on at the same time standing straight up. **** comes up quick and fast. Also if you are pulling 'em up in first gear you might wanna try second, first tends to want to bring you back down if you don't get it up high enough. Just my 2 pennies!
