Allright lads i just got a F4i last week and ive done the idle mod and the air box mod and the tilt switch and i still cant get it to run right ive tried adjusting the stock idle cable up and down with no luck ive read the sticky a number of times and everything is done as said but when i get to BP the bike just bogs down !!!!! anyone any ideas ?????

vacuum leak somewhere....


check to make sure all the air box holes are plugged. Makes sure all the lines are tight and that you didnt miss anything.

 

You missed something or the fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator is bad. Most likely you missed a vacuum leak though. Its especially a vacuum leak if it was working fine before you did the mod.

 

Think i got it fellas was still running the top faring with full lenght air intakes , took them off last night and tried it seems to be better just have to adjust second cable now
