choppy throttle

alright guys there is prolly some threads on this but im to lazy to search. so im riding balance point alright on my F4i, but my throttle control is so choppy the bike goes crazy from left to right and backwards and forwards. lol. and no matter how smooth i am on the throttle ITS STILL CHOPPY! and no matter how little my hand moves, its still choppy. is there anything i can do to work on being less choppy on it?!?!

heres a couple facts on the bike:

the throttle tube is cracked almost right in half, the only thing holding it together is the grip, could this be an issue?

i have a shorty exhaust comes out right by the rear tire, ive herd this could be a problem with the throttle not being smooth down low. because of the little back pressure or somthin.

im running like 20-23 psi in the rear tire, idk if that matters tho. lol.

so is there anything i can do this whole choppy throttle ***** pissin me off!

and please dont just say more practice because i could figure that one out myself!

Re: choppy throttle

not sure if this would help but once i dropped my tire pressure to 12 psi i started doin alot better. also try to lock your throttle hand and use your brake to keep the wheelie in balance point, makes for a much smoother wheelie

Re: choppy throttle

yea.. when i was first learning crap i ran my pressure pretty low (between 10-15) that will help for the side to side stuff.. now im working on increasing it now for circles..

turn your idle up too if your really choppy.. since i got my f4i i just run my idle around 3k and hardly touch the throttle.. i let the idle do all the work

u just answered ur own question.. once you get better with the rear brake you will become smoother.. try not to stab at the rear brake as much just make small adjustments

Ok i didnt need to read much after a few sentences to know you need to tighten your rear suspension.. I have my rear so ****** tight u woudolnt belive it.. and i ride it on the streets and kill sweepers like no other..

So tighten ur rear suspension.. if it continues after this call urself KANE

EDIT: My GSXR that i sold in my bikes list.. Was so UNPREDICTABLE.. with HALF a throttle tube like you said.. exactly the same.. i found that since half my hand was on a no- move position handlebar and other half on the tube.. its less likely to move where i dont want it.. So.. this is a PRO NOT A CON.. But can be a con if ur not familiar with this problem!!!!!
