choppie throttle

My 99 900RR is running wierd. It was running on like 3 cylinders cause the first carb was just dumping and fouling the plug. We fixed that but now the throttle is real choppie. Its hard to be smooth and consistent on the throttle. It will come up fine and run perfect but the minute you get on and off the gas its like it wants to shoot down and when you give it gas to bring it back up it shoots back fast. The chain is kind of loose so Im thinking that and maybe some new spark plugs and a new filter will fix it. Does anyone esle know what else could be causing this?

HELP A BRUTHA OUT!!!!!!!!!! I liked it better on three cylinders. Could go real slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's"kinda" loose?

In case you don't know, your chain should be at the loose side of spec. Always. Never run a chain tight.

take the postive side of the battery cable off for an hour this will reprogram the brain and the injectors will fire more consistantly. because now the brain will correct it self to the changes that you made. and have the chain have a travel of 2 inchs from the bottom of the swing arm.
