Standing VS Sitting
Re: Standing VS Sitting
Standing for sure. Start in first gear. Wear your gear. Keep saying REAR BRAKE REAR BRAKE REAR BRAKE REAR BRAKE in your head since you are pretty green at wheelies. Good luck. Scrape somthin!
Re: Standing VS Sitting
I have a different problem than most of yall. I had a K1 gsxr 600 that i went 1 down 2 up and could ride stand ups for miles. well that bike got stolen and i bought a K7 750 and i thought it would be simple but **** am i havin a hard time with this bitch. i changed the gearing to -1 +2 and 2nd is still a bitch to pull up. is this bike heavier up front or is it that i havnt ridden in about a year? oh and stock tires suck too.
Re: Standing VS Sitting
I havent been able to get out an practice for about 3 weeks now, rains everyday and busy on the weekends. But i did practice one day for about 5 minutes, and i started getting the nose off the ground while standing, At first i always felt like if i lean back the bike was going to go with me, but as i tried it once or twice, the more i lean the better the bike comes up.
Re: Standing VS Sitting
i just started to learn to stunt and everyone is telling me to learn staggared first. im old and a little out of shape but its the foreign feel of standing and clutching the bike up. i went straight to +15 on the rear stock up front and find that i let go of the gas when i get it close to bp. and i forget about the rear brake all the time. after 30 years of riding, its like learning to ride a bike again. i expected to learn it a bit faster, they make it look so easy at the lot and on the dvds!
went down hard the other day and took a few days off to make some repairs(me and the bike). had 3 guys asking me if i was selling my bike... looks like its catching on here!
