Re: gixxer help!!!

bypass your kickstand switch, thats probably what is killin the bike when you land stoppies. it will move a tiny bit if you land hard but its enough to activate the switch and kill it.

**** that gsxr kick stand, i had it move and die in a street whoolie, just cruising right them blam bike shuts off and i mousetrap and land on the tank superman style getting crazy headskakes about to flip over the bars at about 45mph. i have no idea how i saved that one. whats funny is it i would hit a bump or somthing and it would die and i was going to fix it before we rode but said **** that it will never happen in a wheelie. one of my best squid moments.

yeah but bypass that for sure or you might die.

Re: gixxer help!!!

Good luck with that gsxr.
My opinion their damn near the worst bike you could get to learn on. Everything breaks (frame, frame rearset mounts, subframe), tooth pick passenger pegs and gotta invest in a pickup (mine was $80 two seasons ago). Sounds like yours is already ******* up with the idle too. Mine idled great till one day it started to idle down from 3k to 1.5k. Drove me CRAZY!!!! That bike cursed me for a whole year, piece of ****. Dont get me wrong I heart gsxrs but there not bikes you wanna learn stunts on. If your at all serious about stunting, id say sell that thing asap and get damn near anything else, otherwise invest in a tig welder.

Re: gixxer help!!!

gixxers are great bikes, you just can't beat the **** out of them. IMO....... not as easy to whoolie as f4i/636 but not bad bikes, dont listen to every thing you hear. they have flaws just like every other bike.

disable your T/O sensor, if your having trouble with your kick-stand just un-plugg it(no need to cut or anything).

seat time, seat time, seat time....................

Re: gixxer help!!!

I love my gixxer, they just have subframes like glass. thats why I make steel ones. no more worries. the only problem besides the subframes breaking is that the throttle body actuator has a tendency to go out, but its an easy fix.
