I have a 04 r6 and i need some advice on how to dent the tank in...ive talked to a few people and they say that the r6 tank is a bitch because of the gas cap and what not...pics and any advice would be cool

It's actually pretty hard to give advice on tank denting w/out being there while you're doing it. Get a dead-blow hammer and a smaller rubber mallet and go at it........oh, and if it's a mint tank, DO NOT dent it......buy a rashed tank off ebay and dent that. Mint tanks are worth too much $ to accidentally **** it up.

 

+1 about the minty tanks. if it has a slash gaurd make sure you cut it out first. i personally used the heal of mty foot... worked from the gas cap out. then smoothed it out with a hammer.
