For some ******* reason i can not get on my FI clip ons on my forks!!!They sent me 43mm clip ons and these mf dont want to go on...tried for awhile...did everything possible and they still wont go on.....anybody who can help please do!!!!!

 

did you losen the bolts on the clamps....lol jk....i think you should have 45mm if im not mistaken..

 

i thought about that is should be a 45mm..lol yea bro no bolts were in yet...i tried to open the clamp a little but that **** would not fit for anything...i dont know the specs of the forks so i just thought it was just me...so i guess i have to give geared steel a call and tell somebody sent me the wrong mm cause the box says 43mm...

 

yea deff call them, i hate getting the wrong ****....

 

I measured the forks last night with a digital caliper....The forks on the 03 cbr600rr measure out to be 45mm....

 

Found out that FI does not make clip ons for the 03-04 05-06 cbr 600rr....Thats what the salesman told me.....So there sending me vortex clip ons... hopefully there good.......i really like the Fi..we will see when they come...

 

yea that sucks..but just flip the vortex and you should be fine..

flip your stock clip ons till those other show up that way you can get used to that straight bar feeling if your not used to it already

 

I already got use to them when i was on my gsxr..The stock gsxr clip ons pushed out alot more than the rr,i see now why they flip them on the rr...the bike is all apart now so i guess i will wait till they come in...still waiting on the cage and bar and handbrake master.....I CANNOT WAIT TO RIDE!!!!!!!!
