whats a good idle for an f4i

 

you realy just have to play with it and find out whats best for you , I like about 2 to 2500 rpms idle

 

lower = better for f4i, but no one can tell whats good for you...

 

also depends on sprocket size

 

+1 the more ur sprocketed the higher ur idle will need to be for idle/no handed stuff ... stock no more than 2500 imo

 

uhh i think its the bigger the sprocket the less idle you need

 

Its all prefrence.. I know guys that are real good that like up to 5K and guys that like it at 2K. I start the day out at about 3,800 but drop it down to about 3,100 when I settle in.. Im on stock gearing. Just feel it out like everyone was saying.
