DB bars With Stabilizer?
Re: DB bars With Stabilizer?
if not i'm gonna take the idea of gettin a shorter style set of risers and a good style renthal bar and fit the risers on outsides of the gpr mount um up then i'll take a set of bars and just cut the center out of them when i got them mounted where i want then reinstall the gpr in the center, but i'd rather have the kit he is making but i wont wait all winter for them to start producing them and depends on the cost of um also

on the other hand, if you weld an arch up and over the area of the gpr, then cut out the original section, that would work. only problem is welding on that thin walled aluminum. (might have to use steel bars)
Re: DB bars With Stabilizer?
cutting the bars in the center will make for very unstable bars. that reduces the strength by quite a bit and i don't see htem holding up at all.

Re: DB bars With Stabilizer?
well what do you think bill is making with these clip ons db bars it looks likt the center of the bar has just been cut out, if you use a fat bar or a really good bar it should be just fine, its basically the same exact thing that fullthrottleinc has done with the F4I clip ons so i dont see the problem really, even if you use a steel bar which are very cheap you deffinately could build a little bracket to go between them, not a bad idea at all really but from looking at bills i thinks thats just what he did took a good bar and cut the center out of um
Re: DB bars With Stabilizer?
no offense to full throttle really but they dont have nowhere near the best customer service out there. i know a bunch of ppl that have emailed him and called him left voicemails and so on and have gotten no response what so ever. not sure if hes on vacation or what or if he just doesn't return phonecalls or emails n such idk. if hes not gonna respond to anything then he should let ppl know hes not gonna be around
