Cage Problems

I have an 02 gsxr 750 with a powers cage on it. The cage was on the bike when i bought it and at one point it started to get a rattle or vibration so i took it off and put some frame sliders on. Now that im starting to attempt to stunt again i put the cage back on and for some reason my motor mount hole with the threads in it and my frame hole where it meets the motor mount dont line up. I only have this problem on the right side [if your sitting on it]. the left side lines up and goes in perfectly but if you look through you can see the right side motor mount is too low, like it needs to move up 1/8" maybe and willnot allow the bolt to go in. Ive done everything i can think of to line it up, putting a jack under the motor and trying to jack it up, just lifts the whole bike, i put the cage on the back and the left and then laid it over on the left side to see if i could get it to move that way, no luck.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how i could get the motor and the motor mount to shift up so the holes line up for my cage. Its zip tied on that side right now and i dont trust zip ties if my bike falls over on it.

Re: Cage Problems

Take both front motor mounts out and use a jack. If its not lined up your prob going to have to do some work. It wont just slide right back into place.

And make sure you are using the oil pan and not the headers.
