Tire Pressure?

I might get shredded on this question but I did do a search and didn't find anything. What is a good average tire pressure you guys rock with? Front and Back? I'm about 28 in the back and like stock in the front. I'm doing rollin burnouts.trying to do standups and endos if I don't jack knife the bike.

I still ride the streets and lots if that helps.

Re: Tire Pressure?

I do endos with 32 psi, and stand up at 30psi but I´m all time on the highway and do wheelies at 50 mph

Re: Tire Pressure?

I ran 28lbs in the rear on the street and bump it down in the lot til i can push on it a lil!!! i didnt have a guage so im not exactly sure of the number of psi for the lot but 28 is what i run in the street and I havent had a problem with stunting or twisties!!!!

as far as jack knifing the bike i assume you mean your spinnin the **** outa the tire when you try and wheelie?

I used to have a problem with that as well, once you get more comfortable with your body position and transferring your weight to the back tire and clutching more smoothly it will all go away!

Try and focus on keeping the wieght in your feet on the pegs when learning staggered rather then pressing down on the handle bars!

Re: Tire Pressure?

what have you tried? which way have you adjusted, which ways did you like it.

no matter what someone says, everyone is different. do you wear boxes or briefs? do you like your belt tight or loose? i wouldn't go onto a clothing store forum and ask how tight to put my belt on, so why come on here adn ask about tire pressure?

you know what i did back before the internet was invented, i actually adjusted my psi little by little and practiced with each until i found the pressure i liked.

you don't need a search to find it, you can just browse the forums and find it....rule of thumb: straight line stuff slow requires a little less psi, for circles you want a little more so the tire is round.

if you unhook your computer i'll bet money you might stunt better and find a psi that works for you.
