could someone piont me in the right direction ?

I'm learning slow standups..(and sit downs ).. been working on them for awhile... i'm a slow learner...and I know i still suck... But I'm dedicated to learning this... I know I need alot more practice (that goes without saying)

But What I could really use some help With.... Is ...what things should I be concentrating on while practicing ? I know I need to stand taller and lean back a little still.... And I know my throttle still has some slight/medium chop to it... those are 2 things Im concentrating on now.... and I'm concentrating on getting it to "float" longer (off the throttle) and every few days... i see a little improvement. I'm also throwing in sitdowns now and then ...trying to learn them too.

what else could I be concentrating on and thinking about....that'll take me to the next level .....actually....what is the next level ? touching the 12 bar down ? (scraping) ....or maybe trying to take left hand off the bars ? (I've thought about it ...but Im hanging on way too much to try that right now ...LOL )...OR ...should the next level be doing these same slow standups in 2nd gear instead of first ??? opinions are welcomed and Appreciated. Thanks guys...

please understand also...I only put this vid up for learning purposes ..no editing...no music...so the engine can be heard... plus this is a new camera Im using...and I'm trying to learn all the proper settings (and conversions necessary to get it on youtube...my last camera was much easier)...hehe

the last on was pretty good. i didn't see where you said anything about brake control, you need that, plus have you done the idle mod yet? and what is your gearing?

it looks like you are doing pretty good..

just try to be smooth and you will get it just keep doing it over and over and try not to use alot of brake ,the less brake you use the smoother you wil be

...yeah... RB is hand in hand with my throttle control... (they both seem to be progressing at the same rate)

my gearing is -1 +8 and yeah...there are like 2 in there that are slower than the rest...and the last one i actually slowed down a few mph at the end..... I have my idle at 3500 -4000 ...... I dont think I have the idle mod done yet.... I've seen one thread on it...and I didnt fully understand it (or trust if it's necessary yet ) I was lookin to change my Idle adjustment ****.... that's where i came across the Idle mod. Is the Idle mod worth it ? (is it necessary or optional ? ) thanks

Great job man. You just need to tell yourself its ok to touch now. Just get over the fear. Also stop locking up your rear tire its going to cause a flat spots if not do some burnouts to get rid of it.
