zx6r questions

hello, i just got the erge to start stunting after hanging out with some local stunters here in my neighbourhood, the thing is tho, so far i've only bin into customs and choppers so i got no idea what to look for really, and couse i know i am gonna F*ck a few bikes up as soon as i start play around i am looking for something that isn't to expensive to purchase and with the right basics to get started alright.

correct me if i am wrong but basicly i would want a bike with a pretty low weight, enough power to actually accelerate a wheelie (if i would ever like to instead of clutching it for some reason), a engine mounted not to much in the front to lower BP and definitly fuel injection, or isnt the fuel injection that important? I've figured a carburator prolly means a shitload of unwanted stops or is that not something you start noticing unless you spend like 20 minutes at 12 'o' clock??

as mentioned im a nood when it comes to sportbikes and stunting...

...however as i've figured from reading forums etc is that a F4i should do pretty well... except... their rare here in sweden and goes for a shitload of money... so.. would a ZX6R do well as a first bike? couse ive figured it has a decent amount of power and a pretty low weight... and their one of the cheapest bikes to get here in sweden that i can think of being a decent stuntbike.

so now to the subject... witch is questions about the zx6r...
***what year did they stop using carburators (if they ever did??)?
***would you have to do something about the oiltank or is overfilling an ok way to solve that problem?
***Is there any common problem with the zx6r, such as if the frame easily crack right above the swingarm or whatever?

also if you got any idea of a bike that would do pretty good as a first stuntbike for a pretty big dude just post it here please and i can keep an eye out for some more type of bikes.

Re: zx6r questions

actually ive bin playing around on 2 wheels and 1 wheel a lot but not with any "bigger" bikes. has bin driving quads and motor cross since i was about 6 years old, but hasnt bin competing in a class bigger than 250cc and as i sed streetbike wise i only got choppers and customs, but is looking for something to drive on the street and to play around with. so 50cc i think is nothing for me atm, but thanks a lot for the advice tho

Re: zx6r questions

03 is when kawi switched over to fuel injection, and as far as i know, not many porblems with the 03+ 636's(except oil in the airbox if youd otn do the kleen air mod), but on the 98-02 zx6r (which is carbed), the frames tend to crack at the neck, but people still stunt them, just have to be careful about the neck cracking and bending...

Re: zx6r questions

zx-6r 03-06 (636) are dope stunt bikes. they are a bit fragile though, you cant beat em like you could an f4i.
