Re: 2nd gear Standups
You doing a wheelie up Route 1 later that same NIGHT and me doing one again could have got us both tickets bro. It's the risk and the adrenaline rush that make you want to do one. But yeah I'mma severely limit me doing it around cars... espesically explorers, haha.
Re: 2nd gear Standups
Haha Kelm...I guess a wheelie is a wheelie. I've been out of the street wheelies for a while now, here my opinion. Regular standup-if your good like I was you can shift gear while up. With staggared I think you have more control of the bike and it will take less energy...but you cant shift. Hey man I learned a new trick on the 'tard, I'll break it out for ya next time your around.....

Re: 2nd gear Standups
well than alvin i guess im a squid for useing both front pegs, after racing motocross for years it is just more comfortable to me,to be honest with you i havent even tried the staggared fas wheelie yet, why? becuase it just feels weird now ill agree on a slow wheelie it feels alot better but i just dont know how it would feel going fast???
Re: 2nd gear Standups
same exact feeling going fast. i do staggard in 3rd gear all day long. dont worry, one of my boys is the same way. he says he's uncomfortable staggard and keeps both feet on front pegs. i just call him a squid until he changes up. i don't think he likes it when i keep calling him a squid LOL.

I remember when you did a 2nd gear coaster all the way past Jamie's warehouse on Route 1 with cars all around you.... **** was big pimpin.
Matt, You'll never wanna do coasters or anything unless you start doing them staggered. When all of us go to clutch one up you see me, as well as Jamie move our left foot back there. You'll get a better feel of where the bike is and odds are in my opinon your LESS likely to loop out doing them staggered. You'll get wobbles if your choppy though because when I'm at balance point and chop the throttle there isnt constant RPMs pushing me foward which would in turn keep the bike stable. I act like I know what I'm talking about but Frank explained all this to me.

Re: 2nd gear Standups

Brians chain was loose and slipped off when he was riding it so and it tore off the chain guard which in result tore a very small hole but man does that hole pour oil out the motor. We JBwelded it and it was all good but he starts it like a dumbass before it cures.
We patched it up but providing it cures I got the bike the whole weekend..... also has a brand new 51 tooth on it which is anadozied blue.... **** looks PIMP.
