Balance point pointers... lol.
Re: Balance point pointers... lol.
yeah. when i first started riding, i tried to do power wheelies. but for some reason, clutching them was so much easier for me. and now that I am hearing that clutching is way better/important I am happy i didnt stick w/ power wheelies. Now, on a diff. subject. I was practicing getting the BP the other day and it was pretty embarrasing. I don't have a cage or a 12 bar yet so i am still very tennative. I have been doing what -nelson suggested and it is very hard, but I can tell it is the right way to learn it. It will be a lot easier to just go for it when I get a cage and a 12 bar. I'll post some pics of me when I get some descent slow wheelies going. Thanks to all who have contributed.:YEAH

well, no offense to nelson, but he doesn't exactly have his advice stickied and 5 starred at the top of this forum
I know standing staggered feels very awkward at first, but once you get used to it, that is by far the easiest way to wheelie. Like nelson said, you're probably gonna gorrila scrape it a few times learning his way and that gixxer subframe is going to snap like a twig, even with a 12 bar. Instead of practicing on the gixxer I'd spend time rebuilding the f4i
