i just put a handbrake on my bike.. the back brake works fine and never locks up until i use the handbrake... once i use the handbrake the back rim locks up which also locks the foot brake.. and as soon as i bleed it and let out the pressure the foot brake lets go and works fine.. until i use the hand brake again.. i just put on a new fullthrottle fitting.. and the bike never had a handbrake on it before.. i tried 2 new lines and 2 different master cylinders on the bars.. any ideas??

 

hhmm if you are using a radial master i would read this thread , and don't stop with the first post it goes on about people having the same problem as you

well funny you should ask that because like 20 minutes ago one of my newbees just dropped off a gsxr radial master ....

but i have been running an 03 r6 master

but with my rear caliper i can lock it up with my pinky so im not sure if im gonna put it on for a hand brake ,i might just use it for the front....

 

nice, what will you be doing with the stock front master? dude who sold me my 636 replaced the front master with some shitty one...

How good is the 04 gsxr600 master? I recently acquired one for FREE and was planning on keeping it for a spare or maybe put it on, or like u said put one of them on the front. I am currently using 954 master for a HB

haha thanks for the info. the 954 works good 2 me, BUT it is the only bike with a HB I have ridin because nobody else stunts around here.

 

well seeing as how this thread is now about 954 masters for handbrakes and not what i originally started it for.. nevermind...
