Re: cutting exhaust?

Put your stocker back on then cut the end off. But when ya do- cut the outside first put the end plate back on and the cut the inner tube. use what you can to hold the end plate on (screws, rivets, welder, or luck) It'll be good as used but shorter. Oh and put the fiberglass back in so we wont hear you from 2 miles away!!

Re: cutting exhaust?

if it has rivets you just cut it 6-8" from the end and then drill the rivets out, put the cap on the new end, and drill and rivet it back on.

if you have your stock pipe I would cut that

Re: cutting exhaust?

no i dont have the stock pipe, but the actual muffler itself should be cut or the connecting pipe from the header 2 the slip on. cause i heard the bike wont perform the same it did when it was whole
