ok...so here's the story...my bike has been throwing a code (FI) and the little red light stays on and flshes the temp and fi on the digital screen...i brought it back to where i bought it and he said he just had to clear the computer and now it's fine...for about a couple weeks then it started again...i mean the bike seems to be running fine...has anyone else had this problem...please post up...later

they are idiots. they should put it in diagnostic mode and it'll say what code it is on the screen when you start it up again.

in the back under hte seat there is a rectangular plug with 4 places for wires (but only 2 wires going into them) and it has a black rubber cap on the end. If you jump a wire across those 2 wires then start the bike up the guages will tell you a diagnostic code. you look that up in the book to find out what is wrong. it'll say "C00" for like code 00 and so on.

if you can figure out what the code is i can look in my manuals for you.
