i had a thing with the bike hitting the bar when I was trying to catch the idle sitting down. you can clutch it way up and catch it with the brake. not that hard

 

Yeah that's where I was before I left. Same thing your doing. One thing Mana told me is to not lean back asmuch and stand more straight

 

learn stand up staggereds first.. it took me a while to do sitdowns, now i love them

thought i had it tonight practicing, rode the idle for about 20 feet then stalled, hit my knee on the tank, and flipped over the bike.
i either brake too hard and have to use gas to keep it up or brake softly so many times i slow down too much
