if u dont wanna go 180mph get a 600-750cc sportbike.

u have a bunch of options.

suzukis gsxr's, kawasaki 636, honda 600rr or f4i, yamaha r6.

whatever floats your boat

Re: big guy needs advice

go to a dealership and sit on the bikes.. see which one feels best to you.

a 600cc might make you look like a big *** human riding a small motorcycle.

i'm 6 foot and 160 and i got a 600cc

Re: big guy needs advice

im 6'4 200lb and i rode a friends cbr 600rr which is one of the smaller sport bikes and i felt fine and he said it didnt look odd or anything... did feel alittle small.. but he said i looked fine

the bike i am looking for is a 2001-2005 cbr f4i which is a 600 and seems bigger then the 600rr.. plus a **** 636.. which i read in a recent magazine that it was the most comfortable of the 600s for the taller testers...

i would look into those two.. if your budget is about 6000 i would shoot for the **** ninja 6r(636)... thats the bike if i could get a new one i would get.. plus its a good stunt bike(from what i hear)

Re: big guy needs advice

one of the best bikes for a bigger guys is prob a 03 gsxr 750. 600 and 750 are about the same size i think but you get a little more umph out of the 750. they have a bigger look and feel to them than other bikes...im 6'3" 215 and i ride an f4i which feels pretty good but not as big as the gsxr.

Re: big guy needs advice

Get yourself a leftover 954 or a used one! One of the best stunt bikes out there. The power is unbelievable, wheelies real easy, and is a light bike for its size! I'm 6'0" and weigh 220 and when I ride my wifes 600rr I feel like I'm all jammed up on the bike. It just doesn't do it for me. The power isn't there like the 54. You got to be up in the rpm's or sprocket it way up. The 54 has a lot of torque and if your going to ride with a passenger now and then you will feel it on a smaller bike.

yeah for hondas ive heard that the 900s(929,954) are great for stunting do to the weight ratio of the bike... my friend has a 05 1000 rr and he said its alot harder to wheelie since its a very front heavy bike...

never rode any of those bikes but that is what my friend with the 1000 told me

Agreed. The 929/954 are great all around stunters. They can do lots, streets, and freeways geared. It may be too much for a beginner, but you'll get used to the power if you take it slow. I'm 6'4" and feel great on my 954. Then again, I put DB bars on for more clearance and a more confortable riding position. You'll figure out what works best for you. These, however, are great starting points.
