how do i wheelie?
I'm fairly new to riding, and haven't really tried stunting yet, i'm just curious if anyone has any advise how one would go about learning to wheelie. Also i thought i saw a how to wheelie video on this site, but i may have been another, let me know if anyone knows where to find it. Thanks

Here you go man, ive never actaully put the time in to serisouly becmoe an expert(hence the reason i ride 250

you better get a real feel for your bike before you try wheelieing .Put some time in and it should come naturely. be careful with that beautiful bike you are lucky to own! nah,just kiddin' man scoot back far on the seat and nail the throttle in first gear and say this chant over and over http://arisechicken.ytmnd.com/

just get used to the bike first.. worry about doing wheelies once ya get a real good feel for it then just practice clutching some where but try to have somone with ya incase somthing happens.

if i were you, before you even think about doin a wheelie, set up your bike to help you out a lil bit.... like gettin a cage, so if you do crash, itll save you a TON of money in damage... second, get a new chain and sprocket... ask some local stunters around you for some advice also..... dependin if you wanna go "all" out stuntin or if you just wanna be able to wheelie to impress some chicks will determine what kind of gearin you wanna do....
and like everyone else said, get a good fee... well they already said it...hahah

A cage is nice to avoid costly fairing damge, but if you're just learning to stunt stick with stock sprockets. Learn the basic feel for the bike on one wheel with stock setup. When you have that on lock move to more advance sprocket ratios

just posting for ***** and giggles but, seriously, so many newbs get killed down here in fla. trying to wheelie their first few weeks. I remember a story of some hack in west palm who stole a bike and looped it and got killed last year. wheelieing is really for experts only unless you are a phenom natural or some f'in wonderboy like middleschooler . I started riding at ten and racing mx at 13 and I still have a lot to learn. don't worry about being a showoff ,it will get you killed and remember ,you are somebody's son.
