Just to clear this up, I never said I was considering clutching my bike at 10K and holding full throttle. I've just gotten interested in stunting and heard of this website so I thought I'd check it out. I've always just been more into going fast and dragging my knee, but the 10 is a wheelie monster anyway so I thought I'd check into some stunts too. The comment about doing that maneuver on my 10R and dying was more of a joke then anything, although there are brainless people out their that have no business owning a sportbike that would try doing something like that.

 

Maybe Z-Unit is right, this site does ****. From this thread and others I've read so far it just looks like a few nice guys mixed in with a bunch of ****y azzholes. I'll just go back to the forums where guys like me ride our sportbikes the way they were made to be ridden, crazy fast on two wheels in the twisties or on a track. Not on one tire in a parking lot. Anyway, F off Ninja 636 and any of you other ****** around here that think your some superhero badass. Come over to Springfield and find out how bad you are anytime. C-ya!

 

thanks for the concern about getting a feel for the bike. i got the bike last august, but have only but on like 2000 miles. that's why i haven't really tried stunting yet. i'm just getting ready to go back home this weekend and take my baby out of storage for the first time so i just figured i'd ask how to wheelie. just in case the need arises. i actually felt the front tire come up off the ground switching to 4th at the track, i figured if i'm going to do it, it'd be a good idea to get some advise before i try.
