Need help maintaining balance point
Need help maintaining balance point
I've been praticing my wheelies for the past 2 months or so but am still having problems with balance point. I don't go out all the time, maybe 1-3 days a week for about an hour each trip. So maybe I just need to pratice more, but everytime I start to hit balance point I automatically come off the throttle. I guess it's because I'm scared I'll loop the bike. I don't know how far I can bring the bike past balance point and don't have enough ***** to find out. Is this something that I'll get over with due time? I've been doing mostly sit downs but have been recently trying stand ups since I hear that it's easier. So does anybody have any tips on keeping the bike at balance point and how not to loop it?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Need help maintaining balance point
have someone take some pics or video of you 9 times out of 10 you arent as high as you feel like you are. Seems to help alot of people. Once you do get to bp just try to hold a steady throttle and body position as much as possible. On your stand ups try staggered if you arent already. (left foot pass. peg, right cover brake) Makes you more on top of the bike and better control.
