Question Falling Off??

Can anyone give me some hints on how to fall off the bike with some grace( to cause less injury if possible)?

I am really new at all of this, I am not trying any stunts yet.

So far, the best methods of crashing I have discovered are a.) landing in the grass, or b.) landing on your feet and walking away. Both of these really only work for low speed stuff. As for high speed crashes, I'm still tryin to find a way that doesn't hurt.

Cross your arms and tuck your chin into your chest. Try to tuck and roll when you hit the ground. Get up, and collect yourself on the side of the road. Dont leave till your ready.

And dont forget this :helmet

Hope that helps.

Soft grass and dirt work wonderfully. When none is around landing on your feet and running are the prefered method.

Since last night I was unable to meet any of these criteria, I was forced to eat ashpalt and do the sky, ground, sky, ground routine. I ended up with a scratched engine case cover, a little less paint, a bent foot break (still works), and one bent to **** frame slider that needs to be replaced.

As for me....2 skinned knees, and one really sore knee I'm limping on. Oh well...at least I was starting to get crossed up endos in only 15min.

My bike is officialy a complete stunt piece.

I really don't care about the scratches, I'm gonna buy some slidders from Stuntlife. I just really need to bend the break back because it gets in the way when I do standups now.

I love the RR...built like a freakin tank.

Lightbulb

if any one figures out how to crash and minimize the damage to the body at high speeds, write a book and make millions.
you don't have time to think about how to crash, it happens and a second later it is over.

Try Staying out from under the bike That seems to **** me up everytime LOL!Like if your Leg is pinned between the swingarm and pavent while you tumble it blows ! Or if you are Jumping **** and Trying X-games style MX **** and somehow at 40' up the bike ends up being the rider and uses you to land on. Both of these methods are really easy on the bike though. But trying to walk through the grocery store and haveing Little old ladys in walkers pass you like a little Bitch for 3 weeks Blows!!!!!!!
