Glock or XD,........forget that 9mm crap, Never pack anything less than a 40. here. Personally I have owned numerous Glocks and am a certified armorer so I am a litle bias, but I have shot many an XD and they are great guns, my chick lovers her XD and she has smaller hands, the hight of the slide off the top of her hands is more comfortale for her where as I prefer the lower more sleek fit of a Glock. The difference between the two IMO is what you find comfortable and what feels best and natural in your hand.

 

picked up a Glock 17 9mm yesterday with the plans to suppress it and run subsonic ammo.....so far it seems like a really nice gun!

 

I have the xd9 stainless steal and love it! Fits my had perfectly where glocks were a little thick on the back of the grip...felt odd. Also got the night sights for it.
