Re: Just picked up my dream gun today.

Read up on it once!

http://www.handgunsmag.com/featured_handguns/xd_0722/

Its a really old article from a couple of years ago, but you get the idea. I picked up the .40 cal and they didnt even have it in a .40 yet when they wrote this.

Re: Just picked up my dream gun today.

That torture test is amazing. They shot over 17,000 rounds thru it b4 they even started the test. Then they threw it 100 ft down rocky hill then threw it against the cement. And that was b4 they even started the true torture test. That article is what got me to go get one.

Re: Just picked up my dream gun today.

45GAP TACTICAL LE edition model
did a trigger and action job myself
waiting on a tungsten guide rod and match spring
want the tru-glo TFO tritium/fiberoptic hybrid night sights
want a new fitted match grade barell
and I have a 125lumen tactical light/ and laser sight that is waterproof to 66 meters and as tuff as the gun. from Insight technologies It is called a M6x got it for a deal at $289.00 shipped. saw one at a gun show for $369.00 Best one out there trust me, you have to get one smartgunner.com

Best 3 shot group with 185 gr. tmj Lawman target rounds was 1"@30 yards. Double taps are usually within 3 to 5" apart at that range with that tactical light weighing down the front!!

Re: Just picked up my dream gun today.

That light is massive! I'm wanting to save up for the .45.

I'm loving the extended grip/clip.

A subcompact gun with a full grip is sick!

3 and 3/4 " long. It is the biggest one that they offer. Most lumens on the market, and it is white light. Facial recognition at 30 meters in pitch black. It is literally blinding.

It is like a damn spotlight, and the laser is soooooo powerful it is one that until you see it you won't get a true appreciation for it. I shoped around and when I seen this one I was like daaaaaaamn. truly quality.

I got it for bow hunting, it sucks walking in when it is darker than a sack full of black cats, and your'e trying to find your stand, and **** is running off, and at you, and then away. And all you can think about is the farmer telling you about all the cougars that he sees!
**** being nervous, I will click the light on, put the laser on his throat, squeeze off two, and call him underchin.(the cougar, not the farmer! lol)

Hey, you edited! lol
My friend just bought that exact same one. He loves it. First and only handgun, he shoots very, very well with it also. Point and shoot ergo's are the shizzle.
