Ok, but when you pull the action back does it eject the shell and then put a new one in? I was reading that they have an on/off for the gas tube so you can make it like a straight pull bolt action, and also read a lot of times they'll have a gas leak at the tube connections.

Re: Just picked up my dream gun today.

I didn't read the entire thread, but check out Springfield's custom shop. I have been saving for a awhile so I can pick up one of their custom XD45's. I scoped them out at the NRA show here in St. Louis and it is definitely worth the extra $$ to get one from the custom shop.

It does eject when I pull the action back. What is this on/off you speak of? Its a Yugo by the way.

A selector in the front of the gas tube allows for normal semi-auto firing or the nonrepeating grenade firing mode. Meaning it makes it a single shot. See what position it's on.

glocks are hood guns...when im drinking 40oz. in my old hood and feeling very gangsta ill strap on the 40 cal....the only thing i like about the gun is you dont have to take any care of it, and it still holds up and shoots stright my sights came off though.....and it is a little rusty from being in the basement...

Re: Just picked up my dream gun today.

Hey buddy, I had one of those. I had the compact 9mm with all the gear. Your kinda over paying, you should be able to pick that gun up for under $450. I loved mine, it was very very realiable, the only thing I hated was it don't have adjustable sights, and you can't buy em. Thats why I sold it for a glock. I mean home deffense, you really don't need em, but I love to go to teh range and taget shoot, and the sights didn't fit em. If you can get you money back, I know a dealer that will sell it to you for 450 new, and you can have it shipped.

Sorry for not having read this reply before John.
