yes it certainly is... but its cheap... and it works good in guns that have put alot fo rounds down range usually.



GSWITCH: check inside the reciever for and rivets or small screws that ob struct it. on kit AKs they ALWAYS have this problem. theres usually 2 ways 2 fix it. grind down this certain little set bolt... or fire soo many rounds through it it eventually works its way in.


you should also chamfer the bottom the barrel that leads directly from the reciever on the under side. that helps too.

i'd keep that m44 as clean as you can. no sand. that bolt will never work if it get really dirty. i've had mine for about 15/16 years and would never sell it.
