Collections???
Curious as to how many people have "collections" of guns???
I am personally "rumored" to have an M4, AK47, Mac-11/9mm, .45 handgun, .380 handgun, tactical shotgun, hunting shotgun, .270 rifle, .17hmr rifle, a 24" barreled AR sniper rifle in mid build and a WWII Mosin Nagant......not to mention a few thousand rounds of .45, 9mm, .223, 7.62x39, 7.62x54, .22, and .17.....added to that a 90 round drum, double digits of 30 rounds mags, 32 round mags, 25 round mags, 5 round mags, 7 round mags, and 10 round mags for all sorts of guns. My collection has only started.
Pics are welcome of course........and its not all about the "evil" weapons....nice handguns, rifles, shotguns, and so on count and are appreciated.

Re: Collections???
my .17hmr is a savage 93.....the version with the natural wood and slightly red wood stained thumbhole stock and stainless bull barrel.....gun is an absolute tac driver at 250 yards! Pinging prairie dog targets is a blast with it! I hope yours is as accurate as mine has been. I went with a 6-18x40 scope on it. Bought my dad a slightly cheaper version with the same barrel and a 3-9x40 for his birthday coming up. Great gun.
sucks about selling the AK off......but the .308 M4 idea gets the wheels turning! Personally I would love to have a 6.5 or 6.8SPC chambered 18" barrel AR....but the ammo is too expensive!
If you're still in Iraq, good luck and thanks....if you're back, just thanks. lol

Re: Collections???
Walther P22 seems to be a popular choice........how does everyone like there's??? I would like to pick one up but cant justify spending that amount for a .22 pistol when I already have a pair of .22 revolvers.
Re: Collections???
I love mine to death, some common problems with them:
-Like to jam, keep it clean and hold it like a man with a stiff wrist and you generally won't have a problem.
-Ammo-sensitive, will eject the shell but not reload another one.
-Slide is made of pot-metal and has a history of breaking/wearing out prematurely. This isn't a huge problem but there are incidences.
Seriously, about the jamming/failing to reload, out of 50 rounds you may have 2 problems total, so nothing to really worry about or dissuade you from the purchase. If you keep the weapon clean it really doesn't give a bit of problem.

a .22 pistol is for fun, not self defense, so a few failures arent a huge concern of mine.....hell my Ruger 10/22 has been doing that a little when I use cheaper Remington ammo, or crap Winchester ammo.....gonna try some Federal target grade ammo and see how it does.
Re: Collections???
pics.......need to get a pic of the .17 and Benelli shotgun.....truly beautiful stock and stainless steel barrel on the .17. Pic quality isnt great, its off my cellphone since I can transfer pics via bluetooth.
Re: Collections???

Eventually I'll have my collection up to what I want.....including sound suppressors for several calibers, an HK MP5, and maybe an HK91 some day.
