What was the first year of the blaster, and is it the same bike today? What has changed and when? Anyone know? I am looking for one, but it's hard to find history-related info on them. I wanna buy a cheap one, but not if the older ones are different/junk. I rode a 2000 and was happy with it.

 

mines an 88 i think the first one came out in 86 i could be wrong but my 88 runs real strong today and im really happy with it the only that really changed was the plastics i do believe that changed in like 2000 i think but im really happy with mine

 

cool... are the plastic interchangeable??? (Put the 2000+ ones on a <2000???)
