try highchair stoppies first in second gear you should be able to roll them and step off if you think your gonna put it over. then once you get the feel try it sitting down

rollin them

Hey.
Sorry I didn't reply sooner.
The best way to learn is to do highchair stoppies. Just be ready to run away from it if it decides to come over onto you. Put your quad in 3rd gear (or 2nd if you're just starting) at about half to three quarter throttle. Throw your legs over the bars and grab a handful of front brake. Be careful, cause it might start to turn, which will flip you off sideways, or go over too fast and land on you. Neither of them are fun.
Pretty much, you just have to get brave and try them with speed. If you aren't going fast, you aren't going to roll them. I've seen a guy on a Banshee roll them for about 100 feet, it's just practice and *****.
If you get hurt doing this, it's not my fault. I'm just telling you how I do them. Goodluck.

Yup, I was impressed with Hazen's stoppies, and Dan's got it down too.

I know I gotta fudge with my brakes a little bit cause I rode Hazen's quad a couple weeks back and his are so much better than mine....Probably my pads.

However if I concentrate I can get mine up okay, but up until this past Sunday I never tried rolling them. I actually had one roll probably 5 feet which is my new record :D . I know, I got a ways to go, but gotta practice.

The problem I had was my quad coming sideways like Hazen said....Guys, is there any way to prevent that or does it just happen? Am I not smooth enough with my brakes???

Later.

hmm so you let off the brake and balance it? or keep feathering the brake or what..gotta be hard to balance a 370 lbs quad.. :D
thansk for input so far tho.

yeah..

Yeah, ballancing them is pretty hard. Especially with a 390 pound quad, not 370. It's best to keep it a little below ballance with a constant pull on the brakes. Just high enough that you are still keeping some speed.
