there good for a first quad, but they are very small, and crampy. i have one and i do like it. youd be better off with a used 400ex for around 3,000$.

A buddy of mine Stunts a Blaster, well I should say rides Wheelies on a Blaster. I personally don't like 2 strokes. I'm sure there's someone out there pulling some sick *** combos on one, but after riding a blaster, I think I'll stick with my 4 stroke.

wait till you ride a banshee or 250r, a stock blasters power delivery is more like a 4 stroke. until you pipe it do you get a true 2 stroke powerband.

I've ridden both, and yea they were alot diff. then a stock blaster, but I didn't think the stock blaster's powerband was anywhere near the powerband of a 4 stroke.

I've been thinking about a blaster too, just for stunting, cuz they're cheap as hell... I do have a question though... Is the powerband that powerful on one. I mean, if your riding a wheelie, the last thing you want is a big surge of power coming at you when your up, and knocking your *** backwards. I had a 250R for racing, a 400ex for playing, and a 300ex and 250ex for my fiancee. I can ride wheelies forever on all of them, with the exception of the 250R. It only saw track dirt or my lawn when "test riding" it. I wheelied it a little, but didn't push it EVER. Now I bet your wondering why I wanna buy a blaster if I have all these, right? Well, all of them got stolen. They were on a trailer in my driveway, and someone came and hooked them up and drove off with all of em. Total loss, no insurance (can't insure ATV's in Massacusetts) and homeowners won't cover vehicles. The fuggin 250R had over $12K into it, so it's over a $20K loss. I can afford a blaster, but I don't wanna buy it for racing. Just primarily stuntin on the "closed off" streets and some LIGHT trails. I'm not gonna go dirt jumpin 30 ft into the air and stuff. I am on the bigger side, 6'1" tall and 230 lbs. I have never ridden a blaster. I always thought they were "below" my skill level and such. Once you have nothing though, I realize the urge to buy whatever you can, whenever you can. So, are the blaster wheelies controlable, and what is it's rival? You think it is best compared to a 250EX? (I know blaster is 2stroke and the honda's a 4). I need some info from anyone with experience on one. Thanks guys. Sorry "THE KID". Not tryin to steal your post, but I figured my questions would help answer yours too...

Like I said, my Buddy Rides one and I've wheelied it some. I though it was pretty controllable. I don't think you'll have a problem hittin the powerband and loopin it though 'cause you have to keep it in the powerband to keep it rolling. If not it'll just Bog and come down on you. You might have a problem being a little big for it though. I'm 5'10", 190lbs, and I don't really feel right on one. Maybe it's 'cause I'm used to the Z. Have you sat on one? Do you like the way it feels? Are you gonna buy new/used? One things for sure though, they are fun little quads for the $. I think I'd take one over something like a 250ex. Just my
