Tire Pressure 400ex
I agree with Ryan....I think it depends on the quad, the rider and the tires that you are using. I mean there has to be a difference in 6-ply and 4-ply tires as far as pressures.
But what do I know....no matter what I do I can't get my quad to go straight...lol

tire pressure
If you're doing wheelies you can steer better with low pressure like the other guys said. But don't try to do donuts or burnouts with soft tires, you'll be buying new handlebars if you do. For smoke shows keep them hard, soft for everything else.

*** Haven ***
when you do the 4th gear 'coast'. are you shifting through the gears in the wheelie, or tossing it up in 4th? Ive got em down to a stop in 3rd gear, havn't tried 4th. I start it up in 2nd & shift to 3rd while its up - bring the rpm's way the **** up and go WAY back. ride the brake & off we go
Coasting is off the hook.

hey 1000
1000cc,
My name is hazen, not haven.
It depends on how I'm feelin, I pull them up in fourth or shift up to it. I usually shut down the motor in 3rd and let it coast, or leave it in 4th and yank in the clutch. I've been shifting to neautral though so I can do no-handers. It's a slow progress but I'm getting it.
