yamaha blaser question???

yamaha blaser question???

does anyone now if you can mis match engine cases for a blaster??

i have 2 engines both have damage to the opposite engine case. i was told you can mis match them by some people and some people said no.

Does any one now? any help would be awesome. Thanks Dan

i would think they would be machined the same but thats a guess , i would probably give it a try if it was mine

i think all blaster parts for every year ever made minus cosmetic stuff on the new ones are interchangeable

yea i thought they were machined togther also. i built the blaster i got with parts from every year just got hung up with this motor. i was going to do it anyway just wanted to see if anyone has done it. Thanks

You can swap those cases all day long, you can even use IT 185 up to
IT 200 engine cases from the 70's....they are the same engines.

Either one will work but 5 would be best in your case(pardon the pun) 4 stays semi soft but works jus fine, its all how you use it!
