whats up guys. Got a buddy who has a blaster and it wont run properly. It will start up and idle fine but as soon as you give it throttle it bogs out. He rebuilt the carb and also dropped some new plugs in there. Got any ideas?

fuel levels, idler. It may idle fine but when you hit the gas it can bog out. Let it idle till it is warm, then try it. If not make sure a sufficient amount of fuel is making it to the engine. Check your lines and make sure there is no obstructions. Check your tank to see if anything is blocking the gas from getting to the engine.

That is a pretty weird issue. I doubt anything I said is actually the problems but hopefully it's that simple.

 

Yea. Its weird. We have checked over what you said today. Even rebuilt the carb. Something isnt right.

 

have you checked the fuel pump/ filter if the filters too clogged it isnt good and may do this and if the pumps gone this may happen like it did to my dad lt230

 

okkk u said u rebuilt the carb... is it jetted properly? if it bogs its gettin either 2 much fuel or air..... check the reed valves they may be shot.... or possibly an ignition problem may need a new cdi box... get the wiring diagram from the dealer and check the voltages....or coil

 

blasters dont have fuel pumps bud...and if ur dad has an lt230 i feel for him

 

check the parking brake. there is a little switch in there that was screwed up on my friends.

 

100% parking brake issue..

 

(1)Check screen in the petcock, (2)Check main jet (3)Put new reeds in it. when all else fails buy a (HONDA).lol
