Hey Grlz

Ok, I've been doing the 50 stuff for awhile, but would really like to ride a street bike and learn to do tricks. But what would be the best bike to get and does height and weight matter. I am 5'10 and 140lbs. Also, are there any clubs near me that I can learn with? Help!!!!! I want to do this sooooooooo bad.:helmet

Any bike you ride, first or last, should be comfortable to you. Does not matter the size. As long as you feel comfortable sitting on it and riding it around then that is the bike for you. I started on a 600 2 seasons ago and still have it. I'm dying to get rid of it, now that I am comfortable riding, I want a bigger faster bike. It is all up to the rider. Good luck in your search.

I have a question too! Ok, so I love riding on bikes, but I have never driven one before. I've driven quads, and I really want to get a bike. So, how do I start? One of my friends said I should start on a dirt bike and drive in the dirt because it's much softer than the street in case I dump it. So, I want to know everyone's opinion.

I think there are a couple options here.

U can go with a naked bike like an SV650. No $plastics$ to rash and is stuntable(see TrikChic..U got skillz btw)

I started an a YZF600R..its comfortable but a little porky.
If I was looking for a 1st piece to ride and or possibly stunt ,knowing what I do now, I would lean toward the F4i..light,comfortable,FI and very capable for stunting.

Punky..Best of both worlds..just take Ogers or my piece for a cruise thru the fields..he does

OK, well I learned how to run through the gears on an 80 once you can do that it's all about the balance and you comfort level I've ridin most bikes out since but when it comes to a purchase I'm sticking with a 600cc either the gixxer or the any Honda 6...I've ridin the R6 but would rather buy a bike a can stunt once I hit that level with it. So I guess what I'm saying is stick with the lower levels and move up once you feel you've outgrown it.
Big duh right...lol. Oh and take the riding course, highly recomended

Learned on a Gixxer 750 and still ride one to this day.

Doesn't matter what size they're all relatively the same except for the power under your right hand. You will only go as fast as you feel comfortable with anyway so whatever bike you like the best, buy it!

I will most likely be the owner of a Ninja EX500 before long. Is this bike stuntable? I'm not ready for the sick tricks yet, but would like to try some baby wheelies, etc. Anybody know if this bike can handle that?

I agree with starting on a dirtbike if you've never riddin a bike before... I started on a honda xr80 just to get used to gears and a motor on two wheels... my first real bike was a Honda 600 f4i. It felt good with balance weight and height. I'm only 5'7 and 120lbs and i felt comfortable on this bike. But you have to go and sit on them at the dealer to see what you like the best... i would not suggest the new honda 600 rr... it's a little heavier and wider and may not be good for 1st time... also decide if you like fuel injection or carb... bit of a difference in feel... if you have friends that will let you test drive then go for it...
