2001 929. FUEL PUMP DOESN'T KICK ON WHEN THE KEY IS ON AND THE SWITCH IS ON. WILL CRANK-NO-START. LOCK/TUMBLER WERE CHANGED 4 RIDING HOURS EARLIER. FUEL PUMP/RELAY/FUSES ARE ALL GOOD. ANY IDEAS??

 

had the same thing happen b4

follow the plug from the fuel pump, i think its a white1, and check all the plugs by the battery

its usually just somethin gay not hooked up

 

check the f/p wire AND tip over wires

 

if you left the key in the ignition for any time it can cause a reaction and form a build up like on a car battery
and then the ignition dont connect when you turn it

or the diod thats in the keyway that connects to give it power has gone bad

it also could be the tip over switch but ive never heard of that on a 929
