good cheap stands?

good cheap stands?

i took my bike out the other night just to get everything moving as its been sitting for a while. hadnt thought about getting stands, till i left my house and for a mile or two till the tires were warm, it had a little wobble from flat spots from sitting. so, where can i get some? should i do front and rear? or just rear? its a cbr600rr. thanks guys and girls

i have scorpion front and rear universal stands they were like 80 a piece thay work good i had my 954 on them all winter long

i got the universal rear stand, nothin for the front yet, but you could make em cheap enough if you were ambitious.....

damn, deff can't beat the price of that place. i'd make them, but ive been working 10-14 hours a day at work for a roofing company because we're trying to get caught up before the snow hits. so, i have one question. what the hell is a bobbin support? lol that for spools? i have them on the rear, not sure if the holes are pretapped on the front too. thanks for the help guys

Yep - bobbin , spool = same thing.

You will need the spools if you don't have them, 8mm I think for the Honda's, but the spooled is generally more secure (no way for the bike to "slide" down that way) then rubber pads.

The front (handy) stands rely on going into the indentation of your lower fork tubes.

www.pit-bull.com has some damn fine stands but the cost just goes up and up and up unfortunately, but the quality is there. The Handy's are good stands for the $$.

great, thank you. i had just never heard of a bobbin before, pretty funny *** name. ive looked at the pitbulls before, but i just cant see spending the money on them if they can provide the same general function as the cheaper ones and they're never going to be seen by anyone but me and my dad. thanks everyone for the help. i now have to pour some concrete to fill in a couple low spots from cracking so i have a level floor and the handy's hopefully will be here by the time the crete is cure.
