swing arm stand?
take a piece of rope "$1.49 at ace harware" and tie it around the tail section of your bike...then tie the other end to the trusses of a garage and bam your all set the more you pull on the rope the higher it goes
You can use 2 sizzor jacks, one on each side of the swing arm. Or, what I use to do is put a floor jack under the bottom shock mount then lift it up and put jack stands under the swingarm. That was on my FZR though, I don't know if you could use the floor jack method on your bike.
Buy one.. its worth the loot. I sell em for $70

I don't recall if the F4 has inserts for spools or not but if it does use spools, don't go with the rear stand that has a flat pads that push up on the bottome of the swingarm.. Your bike could fall over.. I purchased weld on spool adapters from pit bull for my 929, much better. I have no idea why Honda never welded on inserts from the factory. Before the stand I used the rope.. Just get a rear stand.
joe I got one of thoes lockhart ones and I like it.It's nothing special but it does the job....plus it works on all bikes.Since all my boys like to work on there **** at my house that comes in handy.
