DAMN...shes hot!!
Re: DAMN...shes hot!!
no offense mike but that sounds like operator error , if you set the rollers on the blade right and keep the guide close to your work and dont push to hard you can guide the blade where ever you want it but if you have the guide too high and you rush the cut the blade will guide you ..
and zuki having the external motor is great for that type of saw cause you can get different size pullies to slow the blade which makes it good for cutting thick aluminum , normally the speed would be too high and heat the aluminum too fast

that was my plan when i got the saw, but sears didnt have anything at all, and MSC (the local industrial tool supply) didnt have anything that small. I gave up since i got the saw for free and didnt really need it for anything at the time anyway.

I scored big time today. I found a $20 band saw on craigslist. It didn't sound too promising but I figured what the hell. I drove an hour to go get it. It's a 1960s 12" Craftsman. The thing is pretty much mint. I'll just get a new blade for it. After I loaded it in the car the guy says, "hey you want a table saw"? I asked him what he wanted for it and he threw it in for the $20. It's a 10" Skil, but hey it was free. He also threw in a Black and Decker detail sander. The band saw looks like this only not as clean and a different base:
