DAMN...shes hot!!
Re: DAMN...shes hot!!
We launched a new system a month ago and I got put in charge of dealing with all technical issues that come up. For the first time since launch, I have 0 tickets in queue. Feels good
Re: DAMN...shes hot!!
At my job, rule number 1 is never ever ever have 0 tickets in the queue. Thats when management thinks they have too many workers.
Re: DAMN...shes hot!!
I'd have to physically assault someone to get fired. I just wanted to get this **** out of the way for the time being because I have so much **** to do besides dealing with this new system. I have to maintain all my box's, I'm currently automating a bunch of different reports using SSIS packages in SQL, not to mention all the other ad hoc reporting that comes in throughout the day.
I need more money. Re: DAMN...shes hot!!

Are you ready for a laugh? Drum roll please...
IE6. That's right, version 6. And our local IT has us locked out of certain functions on all of our desktops so we can't upgrade any softward or download anything without adminstrative permission. I understand why they do this, but as a manager I should be allowed to do so. I'm a little higher up on the food chain.

Those who cant - manage
Those who cant manage - change jobs every 10 months to hide their unworthyness, and by doing so, climb the corporate ladder with haste.
Re: DAMN...shes hot!!
Also I can't wait for this weekend. I'm dropping the GSXR off Sat to have it checked out by the dealership, moving my f4i into the garage so I can work on it and pulling it out is as easy as just opening the door and riding out, and putting the clipons + the GSXR 1000 radial master on that came in yesterday.

No excuses for me anymore.

Re: DAMN...shes hot!!
i hate how all the jeep and 4x4 sites i go to are so photobucket-intensive. I just looked through a thread on old diesel trucks, and out of a couple hundred posts, i could only see 2 of them at work.
Re: DAMN...shes hot!!
And if I am too stupid to upgrade my browser, then IT should do their job and keep our computer updated with the latest software. It actually causes an issue in some cases because some of the websites I need to access for information on some meds and therapy dosages and process have shown a banner at the top. The banner says that they are phasing out support for my browser and I need to upgrade. I keep asking local IT to do it with no resolution.
Before any of the IT guys in this thread get their panties in a bunch, I know that this is not status quo for all businesses it's just the issue I am running into here and same with another company I worked for.
