Btw Mike I bought a GSXR1000 radial master from an 08. Tonight when I go home, I'm gonna try and ghetto rig the bars. If I can't make it work with that master, I'm going to use that for the front brakes. If I can, I'll use it as a HB. I figure it's not really a waste of money since in the long run that will be better off for front brakes anyway.
Learning to use the brake takes a lot of practice. We're talking hundreds of hours, not just a week or a month or 2. And thats just the footbrake, handbrakes are even harder to learn.
To me, and everyone else who knows how to wheelie, what you're planning is pretty much the same thing as duct taping a $50 bill to the front of your bike and hoping it doesnt get destroyed while you learn to wheelie. Sounds like a stupid idea, right? Exactly.
A cage is a good mod for you. A subcage is a good mod for you. Adding a real idle cable is too. Everything else is a waste at your stage in the game, and will get damaged/destroyed while you learn to wheelie.

I have a cage already... subcage might not be a bad idea though.
