so my dad just called me and informed me he went to the doctor ... his lower number of blood pressure was so high they couldn't get a reading at first so they put him on meds of course - stupid pharmaceutical pushers but every time i try to correct his diet he says he can't give up the cravings seriously are donuts worth a heart attack

Are you talking about the curves? Those are curves. They just show lines in the 3d view once you extrude the surfaces into 3d. They should be smooth arcs when cut. We shall see.

 

On the edges. they are straight 90's. No 1/8" radiiall the way around?

 

I'm going to do that by hand afterward. He's only got one bit for the machine and I'm not sure how smooth it could make that. It's only a 3 axis router so it can't tilt the head for a smooth 45 all the way around. I haven't decided how I'm going to finish the edges yet. Either a straight 45 or rounded edge.

 

I'd do a slight rounded edge.
