yep thats why i love diesel ... more power and better mileage with just some tuning, so much easier than gassers too .... plus if i end up getting this and getting rid of the wife's civic making biodiesel in the garage is a no brainer - i can run both vehicles

haha sorry. i'm really getting healthy and what not, but i don't like the idea of forcing myself to eat. i eat....i'm not anorexic or anything...i just eat low calorie **** all the time or other healthy stuff. i gave up the sweets for the most part and other junk foods that i used to eat. i forced myself to eat 2 oatmeal packs this morning.
i'm down to 119 now, i see bones sticking out in places i didn't see them before and my fat is melting away like crazy....that's a good thing, don't get me wrong, i guess i'm just in shock i've done this without starving myself or eating nothing but tuna or liquids

I've looked up the mileage regular people make in diesel super duties and it was way lower than what i expected. i'm guessing it's cuz they're turboing those big diesels now.

a diesel without a turbo and cooler is a boat anchor. those guys only get in the teens because their trucks weigh 4 tons and have big tires.

The dealers don't know ****. The guy who rode along for the test drive just learned to shut up and soak up the wealth of information that I am. He actually siad "I'm just going to be quiet and pick up some information from you". I lost respect for him when he showed me the "electric battery cooler".

Not a one. I'm not going to drive a ******* prius. I want power and a decent amount of room inside the car.

I love my truck and I don't want to get rid of it. But driving 18,000 miles a year just to work is a LOT of fuel burned in my truck vs a Jetta.

Re: par schmar

Becky, you aren't eating enough, but it's good that you realize that. Are you back to lots of caffeine? That is a natural appetite suppressant.
You don't need to add in protein shakes (or bars). Stick with whole food, it's healthier. Really the only need for protein shakes is if you are really doing lots of weight training and are heavier and can't get enough protein through solid meals.
If you want, type what you are consuming in an average day. Are you going out of your way to get more fiber? Too much will keep you full for too long and actually inhibit maximum nutrient absorption.
Easiest way to get more calories to stay healthy without eating crap is to get the good fats. Use butter (real natural butter) on foods, olive oil, coconut oil, coconut milk (anything coconut is really good to use - it's fats are medium chain tryglicerides which get used for energy), almonds, pistachios, cashews, macadamia nuts are all good ways to get some extra healthy calories. The good nuts have healthy fats and pack quite a few calories and you only need a few handfuls.
Instead of forcing down a bunch of oatmeal (all carbs even though they are good carbs) maybe try some greek yogurt (don't get low fat) with berries and ground flax seed. A few eggs and some bacon is a great breakfast too. I try to have bacon twice a week, and I eat eggs almost every morning.
Are you getting enough meat in your diet? (insert joke about mikes **** here)
