For like $500 and the new key fob never works as well as the factory one.

If you can't figure out how to work a defroster, you shouldn't be allowed to drive.

that thing looks like an overgrown civic hatchback
I had an Avalanche which is a cross between a 4 door truck and an suv and I still think a Suburban would have been much better.

i'm referring to one in particular story that i'd seen on 60 minutes that had a digital screen. not even the test driver could figure it out. the story was about things being made overly complex than they should. kind of like how we need 3 remotes to watch tv nowadays.

That's why they have universal remotes. I have one that controls my TV, Cable Box, DVR, DVD player, VCR, and stereo.

I get what you're saying.

That would be even worse because I wouldn't have the saddle bags or water proof bed area.

how much did that one cost? i've never found a universal that could control everything. but then again, i've never really looked hard enough. i've settled with a tv remote, a dvd remote, and a vcr remote, and since i run my dvd player through my vcr, it takes all 3 to watch a dvd

It came with my DVR from the cable company. Your TV remote should be able to run just those three. I guess it depends what gear you're working with. My VCR remote will run the TV and VCR, my DVD remote will run the DVD and TV, my stereo remote will run everything but the DVR/Cable box.

i've sure you'd come across having to transport something that would make you wish you had a truck instead, like a fridge or washer and dryer. even though you can borrow someone's it's still a pain having to.

Either of those will fit in a suburban. I'd rather have the convenience of the SUV every day and have to use my trailer every once in a while.
