I'm probably between $6-700. I didn't keep real good track after the initial big purchases.

I'm not sure if I'm going to register it yet. It still doesn't run just right. I don't want to waste the $50 registering it until it's dialed in.

All it does is remove metal by arcing electricity. Even if they had the correct electroform, the threads would have been burned away and you would have to drill a bigger hole and re-tap it.

How much did you pick up the hull and engine for? And what kind of shape were they in? It's a Kawasaki 650 right?

 

Hull was solid and had a bunch of spare parts with it. Including exhaust, electronics, etc. All padding was junk. I paid $150. Engine was complete with carb and stator. $150. I threw new rings in it for $25. I bought another parts boat for $50.

Yeah, it's a 1988 Kawi 650SX with a 1987 motor.

 

Those are some pretty good deals.

 

The whole thing might be worth what I paid to put it together but I know everything is good. There are no hidden problems with this one. You can buy these in most parts of the country for $500, running. They don't really exist up here though, so I had to build my own.

so the kids had 1 hour of school today. wtf is that all about? it was their last day

 

damn just got out of the chiro .... all my pain is because i popped a rib out of my spine

 

stuff id like to do today:

do the right side brakes on beckys car
take it to get an alignment
troubleshoot electrical problem with pool pump
take the kids for a bike ride

but its pouring so instead i will be:
taking the kids to mcdonalds
making them watch dvd's all day
posting on stuntlife

 

that happens all the time. i did it once from sneezing. you'll do it again now that its loose
