Nothing to bend really other than the outside of the seal. Pry that bitch out gently with a screw driver and tap in the new one gradually and evenly. Don't forget the bearing before you put the new seal on.

there is that thin piece, almost like a washer with some residue of a rubber oring or seal around it still on the spindle ... when comparing it to the pics here it looks like that shouldn't be there ...

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure you replace the inner bearing before you drive the seal in. I almost didn't. These seals are NOT removable once driven into place.
