I think the best setup for a crewcab short bed superduty is a 6" lift with 37" tires and 20" rims. 22's look good too for the urban assault vehicle look.

Is the black chrome a translucent? If so it's twice the work to do it. You either have to polish the frame, or spray chrome powder, then the translucent over it.

i had 18s on my car back in the day when that was ballin. when the tires wore out, i bought new rims and tires again. it was only $50 more per wheel than just buying tires, and came with free mounting and balancing.

Re: Semi work safe

Yup 2x the work. And probably 2x the powder thickness. Not sure how all that works yet.

I had 18s on my LHS. Once the tires wore out I sold the rims. I was older and didn't mind having stock rims.

Car tires are not even close to large all terrains. Just one of my 315/75/16's cost more then that entire set of 18's probably did.
