i dont know every thing but i know an 8 year old is not old enough to really understand what being a model is and moms that use the excuse ''she wants to do it'' are just not being honest , the truth is they want the kid to model and manipulate the kid into thinking thats what they want

 

im sure a lot of models have slept with a **** load of different people to get to where they are.....

HAHAHHAHAHAH because you know this from experience? that is your 2 cents. if she wants to model then i will try to get her started and if she wants to continue it then ok and if not then ok. same thing with playing sports.

 

It's not even that. She's 8 years old. What is she going to think when she goes to a ton of auditions and never gets picked? She's going to think she's ugly.

Becky is in NY. The population density is insane. There's very little chance she would ever be picked.

Do you think anyone is going to consider her feelings? She will be made fun of by the other girls (and their mothers), especially if they've worked before. The people doing the auditions are going to be short with you. They have a lot of people to see and can't be giving every girl a pep talk. It's a very high pressure field. I would never let my kid do it.

 

welcome to having a daughter....every person..well i'm not a boy so i can't speak, but every girl that i know thinks or have thought numerous times that she's ugly.

Thinking you're ugly and someone constantly reinforcing that idea are two completely different things.

 

does anyone ever consider anyones feelings? you act like this is something different than the real world.
this is the same thing as trying out for cheerleading, dance team, OR even playing sports. i can't tell you how many times i was made fun of from these things or how many times i made fun of someone to their face for sucking at the sports i played.

This is based solely on looks. It's not how good you are at something. This is something you cannot get better at. Not to mention the chances of it ever happening are almost none. If you lived in Maine it might be a different story.

playing sports if you suck, your back up, but still on the team most likely... modeling.. you either are or you aren't
